Beyond engineering

Off the clock

Music, art, cricket and chess: the things I do when I'm not in the shop.

Music

Guitar

I picked up the guitar at five and have been performing ever since, including playing in a band during high school.

I love all kinds of music, from fingerstyle to rock to jazz to R&B, and that range shows up in everything I play.

Sports

Cricket

I've played competitive cricket since 2019 and captained multiple teams over several years. I was selected to the Georgia State Team three years in a row (2022 to 2024), named State Final MVP, and played for the US South Zone National U15 team in 2023.

A bowling injury kept me in rehab through 2024 and 2025, and it's the reason I built the bowling risk analyzer. I'm now back playing for the Georgia Tech Cricket Club.

Games

Chess

Chess is the game I've taught the most. At Chesstronics I coached students ages 4–16 alongside robotics and coding. In high school I rebuilt the North Gwinnett Chess Club from 3 to 30+ members as president and ran the school's first-ever chess tournament.
